A Visit to the Trois Rivières Plantation

Founded in 1660 by Nicolas Fouquet, Superintendent of Finances to King Louis XIV, the Trois Rivières Plantation is one of the oldest in Martinique. Located in Sainte-Luce, on the beach road, and recognisable by its windmill, it majestically dominates the Caribbean Sea.

Open all year round, Monday to Saturday, 09:00 to 17:30 and on Sundays in high season.

Guided tours help you to discover the ancestral methods of making Trois Rivières agricultural rums, from cutting the cane to aging the rum. Guided tour times: 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 14:00, 15:00, 16:00.

Tariff: €5 per person

You can also explore the site independently.

At the Boutique du Moulin, where prestigious Trois Rivières vintages rub shoulders with modern rum from the special series, you can taste and experience all the aromatic richness of Trois Rivières rums. There is also a large, well-maintained park and shops selling local crafts set amidst the gardens and mangroves.
